On July 6, 1941, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch ran this photo of 43 Clermont Estates. As the caption explained, it would soon become the home of Peter and Catharine Herzog and their two sons Peter and Michael. All three of their daughters, Mary, Cathie, and Julie would be born while the Herzog's lived there. The family even had the license plate 43, later 143, in honor of their house number. They would live on Clermont Lane until 1964 when they moved to 4 Coach 'n Four in Frontenac.
